Deadly Malpractice

Certain American police officers have elevated the failure to shut up, grovel, and stop moving – while undergoing sadistic torture – to a capital offense.

We might as well just title them Lords and Ladies and Inquisitors and be done with it. Our refusal to indict officers for such deadly malpractice effectively elevates them to the state of nobility, an odious practice forbidden under the American Constitution. Under American custom, all – including police officers – should be subject to the same law. Police are tried by entirely different standards than civilians. If anything, police should heed the maxim of Spiderman: with great power comes great responsibility.
